The Williamstown Fire Department welcomes people interested in caring for our community by joining a diverse group of skilled, dedicated firefighters. Fill out the volunteer form and one of our officers will contact you with more information. Or stop by the station Mondays 6:30-9 PM to observe a training session and meet the crew.

All Williamstown firefighters receive thorough training and are paid on a per-call basis.

Requirements

• 18+

• Valid driver’s license

• At least a high school diploma or GED

• Able to pass the MA Firefighter’s Physical Exam. We also have opportunities for support firefighters (no exam required).

• Must not smoke or use any tobacco product
