Why a new station?

Our current station was built 72 years ago. Since then the Fire District has taken on more responsibilities, the trucks have gotten bigger, and the safety requirements for stations have greatly expanded. Williamstown Fire District plans to build for the long future as an operational, safe, and sustainable facility for the people in charge with keeping our community members safe.

Our community’s support is greatly appreciated by all at the Fire Department.
